CUGATOS

Stuff I like. No-nonsense.

This blows my mind. I look at this picture of a convenient, spacious and updated starter home and think “well isn’t that a cute little home” thinking it worth 350 to 400k.

I (27m) just love that I’ve busted my ass on my career with goals specific to afford myself a modest little dwelling such as this. Just to have the prices swell to such an extent that I am no closer than I was in 2013 to buying a house. I haven’t taken a vacation in 10 years. In that 10 years I’ve gone from making 20k annually with a goal of making 60-65k so I could comfortably afford a 400,000 home. I make that now but the cost of living makes it seem a modest income. Certainly not enough to support a family as I had expected.

I feel like we’re all just running in place.
